Specialist, Portfolio Management
We are seeking a dynamic Specialist, Portfolio Management specializing in enterprise training, with a focus on acquiring and developing online courses, video content, and live classes. This role is ideal for a content professional with a passion for educational innovation, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to sign and nurture experts and trainers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and recruit thought leaders and instructors with a proven track record for delivering content, focusing on technical subjects and emerging trends.
- Research leading market trends in technology for AI and other relevant fields to identify new content areas.
- Evaluate course proposals, video scripts, and training outlines, ensuring alignment with market needs and organizational standards
- Lead the full lifecycle of content development: from acquisition and contract negotiation to guiding trainers and authors through course creation, video production, and live event planning.
- Create budgets that are in sync with expectations and project manage multiple concurrent course and training projects to maintain schedules, quality and keep titles on budget.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure successful launches and ongoing promotion of new educational offerings.
- Coordinate with vendors to manage project lifecycles, create content, and deliver files
- Attend industry conferences and virtual events to scout talent and stay ahead of content trends.
- Mentor junior editorial staff as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in content creation, technical publishing, educational content acquisition, or a related area.
- Demonstrated success in signing and developing trainers and/or authors with a track record for success.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience overseeing complex, multi-format content projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Understanding of technical content business, especially for AI, cybersecurity, and cloud
- Self-starter, able to attend conferences and keep up with technical trends
- Familiarity with course creation platforms, video production, and live training formats
- Analytical mindset for market trends and content opportunities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- A client-focused go-to-market mindset

The minimum full-time salary range is between $80,000 - $100,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.
