AO is seeking ambitious, coachable professionals to join our  Remote Leadership Development Program  as  Sales Leadership Trainees . This opportunity combines hands-on client experience with structured leadership development, mentorship, and a performance-based path toward future management opportunities.

You'll begin by learning our client service, benefits, and sales process while developing the communication, coaching, and leadership skills needed to take on greater responsibility as you progress.

Previous insurance or management experience is not required.  We provide training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing leadership development.

What You'll Do

Learn the Business & Serve Clients

Leadership begins with understanding the client experience. You'll receive hands-on training while working directly with individuals and families.

Responsibilities may include:

• Meet virtually with clients through Zoom and phone appointments
• Connect with individuals who have requested information about available benefits
• Identify client needs and financial protection priorities
• Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
• Recommend appropriate coverage based on individual needs
• Guide clients through applications and enrollment
• Build long-term relationships through professional follow-up and service
• Maintain accurate client documentation
• Follow applicable company procedures and state insurance requirements

Develop Your Leadership Skills

As you demonstrate proficiency and meet performance requirements, you'll receive additional leadership development opportunities, including:

• Participate in structured leadership training and coaching
• Learn how to communicate goals and expectations effectively
• Develop coaching, presentation, and team-building skills
• Learn performance tracking and accountability systems
• Participate in virtual team meetings and development sessions
• Work directly with experienced leaders and mentors
• Strengthen decision-making and problem-solving skills

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be physically located within the United States
• Have a computer or laptop with webcam and microphone
• Maintain reliable high-speed internet
• Have a quiet, professional workspace
• Be comfortable using Zoom and virtual communication platforms
• Be willing and able to obtain the required  state Life & Health Insurance License
