Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Youngers / Children's Therapist to join our team in Fairlawn, OH. This full-time position focuses on providing mental health treatment to children ages 6 to 11 years old . The ideal candidate will be passionate about early intervention, creative in their therapeutic approaches, and committed to helping children and families thrive.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
(Some flexibility may be required based on client needs.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children ages 6–11.

• Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and progress notes in a timely and thorough manner.

• Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and interdisciplinary team members to support holistic care.

• Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and supervision as required.

• Transport clients when necessary for appointments, family meetings, or community-based activities.

• Maintain compliance with all documentation, confidentiality, and licensing standards.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

1. EDUCATION: Requires minimum of a Master's degree in
Counseling, Social Work or a related Behavioral/Mental health field from an accredited college or university.

2. EXPERIENCE: Previous children & adolescent behavioral health counseling/therapy experience preferred. Previous children & adolescent group therapy experience preferred CBT/DBT desired

3. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Requires active license, in good standing, to practice as a Social Worker/ Counselor in Ohio (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC).

4. KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE: Excellent written and oral skills. Current knowledge of mental health practices. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer services skills. CPR. First Aid, & Crisis Intervention Training
