Job Title: School Psychologist (Full-Time, In-Person)
Location: Ohio (Middle School or K8 School, Final Placement TBD)
Contract Dates: August 11, 2025 May 22, 2026
Schedule: MondayFriday | Approx. 7:30 AM 2:30 PM (subject to slight adjustment depending on school location)
We are seeking a full-time, in-person School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational team for the 20252026 academic year in Ohio. The selected candidate will serve either a middle school or a K8 school (final assignment to be determined based on district needs). This position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, students, and families in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
The School Psychologist will support approximately 50 students for evaluations , and will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, contributing to special education eligibility decisions, and providing critical consultation to school teams.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological and educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
Write detailed, legally compliant evaluation reports and interpret assessment results for parents, staff, and IEP teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans based on student needs
Support the development of behavior intervention plans and offer strategies to improve classroom behavior and academic performance
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, intervention specialists, and other school professionals to support student success
Provide consultation on academic and behavioral interventions, mental health supports, and systems-level approaches to student wellness
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to school psychological services
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
Caseload: Approximately 50 evaluations for the school year (for a full-time psychologist)
Schedule: Approximately 7:30 AM 2:30 PM , Monday through Friday (subject to slight variation by school site)
Location: Placement will be at either a middle school or a K8 school , depending on district assignment
Setting: 100% in-person role remote or hybrid work is not available for this position
Must hold or be eligible for a valid School Psychologist license or certification in the state of Ohio
Prior experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant education laws and policies
Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
