We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own our day-to-day financial operations, keep our books clean and current, and provide the reporting ownership needs to make smart decisions.
This is a hands-on and onsite role in an industrial company scaling its eCommerce business in the Youngstown region. You will be the primary accounting resource for the business — not managing a large team, but with real visibility and real impact. You will work directly with ownership and have a seat at the table in a growing company.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Daily accounting operations – refunds, credits, return approvals, interface with salesmen
• Full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual close process — journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Cash flow tracking and weekly cash position reporting to ownership
• Payroll processing and coordination with payroll provider
• Inventory accounting and reconciliation with our NetSuite system
• Sales tax compliance across multiple states
• Banking relationships, wire transfers, and daily bank reconciliations – Braintree, Paypal, Google pay and others
• Vendor and customer account management including credit terms and collections
• Coordination with external CPA firm for tax preparation and year-end audit support
• Internal reporting — gross margin by product line, expenses vs. budget, KPI dashboards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in e-commerce, distribution, or wholesale
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with an ERP system — NetSuite is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Excel — comfortable building and maintaining financial models
• Experience managing a full close cycle independently
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location business
• Familiarity with sales tax compliance in distribution/wholesale
• Experience working directly with ownership or senior leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA track a plus but not required

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($90,000-$105,000 range plus bonus)
