Ohio Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,120 - $2,180
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/14/2025 – End: 12/13/2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Main Operating Room
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Nursing Shifts: 5x8 hour shifts per week (Primarily 7:00am–3:30pm; some shifts 9:00am–5:30pm)
• Call Requirements: 2–3 weekday calls (M–F, 3:30pm–7:00am) and 2x12 hour weekend calls (Sat/Sun, 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am)
• Hours per Week: 40

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• RN Surgery certification preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts
• Completion of required onboarding documentation and health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Physical/Health Statement, Fit Test, TB/PPD, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine)
• Background check, education, and employment verification
• Skills checklist and competency exam completion
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with surgeries across multiple specialties
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call rotations and support the surgical team during off-hours
