Are you a natural closer who loves helping people make smart decisions about their homes? Shafer Heating & Cooling is looking for a Comfort Advisor to join our growing team in Hillsboro, OH.

As a Comfort Advisor, you'll meet with homeowners in their homes, listen to their needs, and help them find the right HVAC solution for their comfort and budget. This is a full-time sales role with real earning potential for someone who is motivated, personable, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Run in-home consultations with homeowners interested in new HVAC systems
• Educate customers on equipment options, financing, and the value of choosing Shafer
• Build and maintain a referral pipeline through excellent customer relationships
• Work closely with the install team to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale
• Track your activity and results, and participate in regular team check-ins

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum 2 years of residential in-home sales experience, HVAC strongly preferred
• Proven ability to run a structured presentation independently
• Experience closing high-ticket sales with homeowners in a one-call or two-call close environment
• Familiarity with options-based or tiered pricing presentation models
• Strong communicator who can explain technical information in plain language
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment
