B-Level Automotive Technician | Monday–Friday | Weekends Off

Dealertech Auto Service is hiring a full-time B-Level Automotive Technician to join our team.

We are an independent automotive service center in Columbus, Ohio, built on honest work, clear communication, and long-term customer relationships. We are looking for a technician who is dependable, teachable, productive, and wants to be part of a close-knit team that takes pride in doing things the right way.

This is a good fit for a technician who wants steady opportunity, experienced service counter support, Tekmetric digital inspections, a strong inspection process, and a shop environment where loyalty, teamwork, and growth matter.

Pay:

$34–$38 per flat rate hour, based on experience, skill level, tools, and productivity.

This is a flat-rate position for a productive technician. We have an experienced service counter, Tekmetric digital inspections, and an organized workflow to help technicians stay productive. We value and support hardworking technicians by maintaining consistent workflow and shop processes.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekends off
• Full-time position
• Overtime is not required, but additional hours may be available for technicians who want them.

Shop Support & Equipment:

• Experienced sales and service counter.
• Tekmetric digital inspections.
• Consistent inspection and sales process.
• Drive-on lifts.
• Standard lifts.
• New Coats alignment machine.
• A/C service machines for both R-134a and R-1234yf systems.
• Tire balancer.
• Diagnostic scanners.
• Supportive team environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on customer vehicles. This role is best for a B-level technician who is comfortable with general repair, can work independently, and wants to continue developing their skills.
• Typical work includes:
• Brakes.
• Steering and suspension.
• Alignments.
• A/C service.
• Maintenance services.
• Vehicle inspections.
• Diagnostic work.
• Drivability concerns.
• Electrical testing.
• General repair.
• Clear documentation of findings and recommendations.
