- Hours: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in a high-acuity clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong recent experience in Labor & Delivery and be capable of delivering safe, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, including fetal heart rate and contraction patterns
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams during deliveries and procedures
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on labor processes, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and complications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor & Delivery experience prior to travel
- Minimum 18 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience in home unit
- Strong clinical skills in high-risk and routine L&D cases
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License (required at submission)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- AHA ACLS Certification (required)
- NRP Certification (required)
Additional Information:
- Timekeeping system utilized for hours submission
