PagerDuty is looking for an analytically curious, detail-oriented Associate Commercial Analyst to support our Commercial business-our long tail of 14,000+ customers. This role will dig into trends and insights, analyze performance to surface suggestions and plays, and serve as a key point person to help us understand current performance, forecast results, and analyze market conditions.
In this role you will focus on tracking and reporting KPIs across the product-led growth funnel and sales-assist funnel in a SaaS environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across sales and customer success teams to support KPI and goal mapping, contribute data-driven recommendations on testing and optimization strategies, assist with analytics tracking, help maintain performance reporting dashboards, and deliver insights across acquisition, expansion, and retention initiatives.
You're eager to learn the language of both business stakeholders and data engineers, translating business questions into technical requirements. You'll help create simple, easy-to-digest reports and insights that support our Commercial sales and customer success teams in driving more pipeline and revenue while keeping an eye on ROI.
You're organized, work well with guidance and autonomously when appropriate, and can be trusted to deliver quality work. You prioritize effectively and communicate clearly. You take the work seriously, but you don't take yourself too seriously.
Wherever possible, you'll help business stakeholders answer their own questions using reports & dashboards that you build.
Key Responsibilities

Own analytics for tracking and reporting for the Commercial business across acquisition, expansion, and retention

Provide stakeholders with dashboards and reports on sales performance, customer engagement, and funnel metrics, identifying key insights and opportunities for optimization

Analyze dashboards, surface insights, and contribute recommendations to stakeholders

Track the impact of implemented recommendations on performance

Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide data-based insights and recommendations to Commercial sales and customer success stakeholders

Support strategy, implementation, and reporting of A/B testing and experimentation
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business) or equivalent practical experience

Demonstrated interest in business analytics through coursework, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities

Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) through coursework, projects, or internships

Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) or willingness to learn quickly

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage tasks and work with increasing autonomy

Strong communicator and collaborative team player
Preferred Qualifications

Internship or project experience in a SaaS or technology company

Understanding of sales and customer success metrics

The base salary range for this position is 67,000 - 112,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
