Commercial HVAC Maintenance Technician

Our company is seeking a dedicated Commercial HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment. This position does not carry the expectation of overtime (although available) or on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems and equipment
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine repair needs
• Inspect and perform tests on systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude
• Report additional maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
• Coordinate work schedules with Service Dispatcher
• Complete accurate work orders for billing and payroll purposes
• Obtain and communicate purchase order numbers when purchasing job-related parts and supplies

Qualifications

• Trade school with HVAC certificate/degree
• 5 years of HVAC/R experience preferred
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license
• Must have refrigerant EPA Universal card
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to wear all P.P.E's when applicable (steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.)
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and kneel to complete assigned tasks
• Ability to work at heights off a ladder, scaffold, and aerial lifts
• Ability to maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
