Computer User Support Specialist - 304604
Summary : As a frontline resource, the Computer User Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless operation of computer systems within the organization. Responsibilities include promptly addressing technical issues, proficiently troubleshooting problems, and offering expert guidance to optimize user productivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to user inquiries
- Diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues
- Referring users to the enterprise service desk for core-IT related issues
- Play a crucial role in helping users navigate and maximize the functionality of computer systems, software applications, and related technologies
- Conduct training sessions to empower users with the knowledge to independently troubleshoot common issues and contribute to the development of user guides
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
- Stay informed of the latest trends and updates in technology
- Including those specific to the USAF, DAF365, and related sectors
- Documenting support activities and maintaining records of common issues and solutions contribute to the continuous improvement of support services.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance (or higher)
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8140 certification)
