Sr. Scrum Master
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a large Insurance client that will be embedded with software development teams, actively partnering with engineers, product, and technology leaders across both onshore and offshore teams to drive delivery, alignment, and continuous improvement. Leading 2 scrum teams with 10-12 people with roles such a Dev, BA, QA. Establish a strong onboarding foundation by pairing with a peer Scrum Master mentor, quickly integrating into shared team standards, ceremonies, and ways of working. Facilitate and continuously improve core Agile ceremonies, including two-week sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring each session adds real value rather than following process for process' sake. Project focus is a Binding Product that will be available to Broker and an Underwriting Project looking at a tool called Kalepa.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, embedded with software development teams (Leading 2 scrum teams with 10-12 people with roles such a Dev, BA, QA)

Proven experience working with a mix of onshore and offshore teams

Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, evolving environments, with the confidence to speak up, challenge constructively, and think ahead

Able to adapt Scrum practices to meet team and organizational needs rather than relying on "by-the-book" interpretations.

Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to ask insightful, open-ended questions-even without deep technical expertise-to guide teams, surface risks, and drive continuous improvement without creating friction. SAFE
