Controls Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software components, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems. The Controls Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Design and develop control systems using programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• Create and interpret schematics for control systems and related hardware.
• Implement debugging processes to identify and resolve issues in control systems.
• Collaborate with project teams on scheduling and managing project timelines.
• Develop vision inspection systems to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Utilize Arduino platforms for prototyping and testing control solutions.
• Apply knowledge of quantum engineering principles in advanced control applications.
• Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support during system installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Perl.
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers and Arduino platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of debugging techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
• Familiarity with vision inspection system technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
