Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support branch operations. This role is responsible for managing product flow, processing documentation, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. It requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities
- Receive products into the computer system accurately and on time
- Process and maintain shipping documents
- Manage and retrieve material test reports (MTRs)
- Handle internal processing of fabrication and hold orders
- Communicate effectively with departments, branches, suppliers, and vendors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, correspondence, and customer interactions
- Comfort working with basic math, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to standard processes
