Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at our Hilton Garden Inn. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations and is ready to take ownership of team performance, guest satisfaction, and operational execution.

You will work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to ensure seamless hotel operations while maintaining Hilton brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across front desk and general front-of-house areas
• Support back-of-house administrative functions, including scheduling, billing, and vendor coordination
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, including evenings/weekends
• Cover call-offs and ensure operational continuity
• Manage operations, such as staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and compliance with hospitality regulations.
• Implement and maintain Hilton standards related to guest services, safety protocols, and hotel policies.
• Assist in managing front desk operations and guest flow
• Handle escalated guest concerns and service recovery
• Ensure high guest satisfaction scores and adherence to Hilton service standards
• Receive training to support bar and restaurant operations as needed

Requirements

• Previous hotel management experience required (1-2 years)
• Experience with PEP (Property Engagement Platform)strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Front desk operations
• Scheduling and administrative workflows
• Inventory and vendor ordering
• Proficiency in:
• Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
