QA Tester

Job Title: Guidewire Claimscenter QA NOTHIRD PARTIES
Location: Cincinnati Ohio
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $57/hour (up to)
Contractor Work Model: Remote – offsite
Overview
Claims specific knowledge of the Guidewire ClaimCenter application. NO THIRD PARTIES

Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using appropriate tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues effectively.
• Verify fixes and validate improvements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist in creating test documentation and reports for project stakeholders.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing or a similar role.
• Proficiency in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
