Job Description Summary

Install maintain and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Evaluate teams performance on all three shifts and provide coaching to develop and enhance technicians skills

• Represent Maintenance and Facilities Team in customer-facing reviews and meetings

• Foster collaborationbetween internal teams and external vendors to achieve operational excellence.

• Coordinate with the PM Coordinatorto develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment and infrastructure.

• Ensure timely completionof all preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

• Track and analyze maintenance datato identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Manage relationshipswith outside vendors providing electrical plumbing and maintenance services.

• Negotiate contractsand ensure vendors deliver services on time within budget and to quality standards.

• Conduct regular evaluationsof vendor performance and address any issues promptly.

• Oversee the Crib Attendantto ensure proper inventory management of tools spare parts and consumables.

• Implement inventory control measuresto reduce waste and ensure availability of critical items.

• Conduct regular inspectionsof facility infrastructure (e.g. HVAC plumbing electrical systems) to identify and address issues.

• Ensure compliancewith safety environmental and quality standards.

• Implement 5S principlesto maintain cleanliness and organization in facility areas.

• Collaborate with pensionersto leverage their expertise in facility upkeep and special projects.

• Lead initiativesto improve facility operations reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

• Utilize lean principlesto identify and eliminate waste in maintenance processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years maintenance/engineering experience)

• Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.

• Problem-Solving:Ability to analyze data identify issues and implement solutions.

• Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

• Organizational Skills:Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
