About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44125!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. License: Permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start). Must-Have: - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation. - An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Description: All start date, scheduling information, and shift details must be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission. This information cannot be changed after an offer is presented. All requirements listed in this job description are non-negotiable. No exceptions will be made. Options for shifts are available. Day shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience before traveling. Candidates must hold a permanent Ohio license in hand at the time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts on or after January 1, 2023. Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Co-worker references will not be accepted and will lead to the rejection of the profile. References must encompass assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications must be active with no pending issues. Travelers may be submitted for one job at a time within the specified health system. All assessments must be completed during orientation. Candidates will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass the assessments; otherwise, the application will be canceled. Background checks of any kind are reviewed, and any traveler with an open case will not be accepted. The facility does not accept any license hits. Nurses and surgical technologists are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements at this time. All other travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start. Permanent and per diem candidates are not permitted to return to the specified facilities for one year from their previous end date. Background checks must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Candidates may extend their contracts for an 18-month period; a 6-month break is required thereafter unless deferred on a case-by-case basis. Modules are billable for up to 4 hours; any additional pre-start module time is non-billable. Annual modules are billable up to 4 hours. Modules are recorded via the specified system.
