Key Job Details – Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry)

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry – Urology Unit (G90)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nurse Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential extension up to 15-16 weeks)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Days: 7:00am–7:30pm / Nights: 7:00pm–7:30am; typically 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights as needed)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: October 3, 2025
• End Date: January 2, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250–$2310 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license required at time of submission
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all active, no pending certifications)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start
• Completion of required modules and orientation prior to start

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry (Urology) unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document care accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies
