Marketing Technology Lead
Our US office is looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Marketing Technology Lead.
Are you a driven marketing technology consultant passionate about recognizing client business challenges, solving complex problems, and creating business opportunities? Are you excited by the opportunity to work with global clients in an international, award-winning company? Are you adept at analyzing technology needs and developing implementation strategies? If these ideas spark your interest, you could be the one we’re looking for!
Luxid is a global marketing agency driving growth for results-focused businesses at the intersection of creativity, data, and technology. We’ve united the best and brightest — analysts beside storytellers, technologists with artists — to help decode audience behaviors, ignite hearts, and shape experiences. We need a special new team member to bolster our abilities to deploy and optimize marketing and sales technologies with US-based clients.
We have over a dozen marketing technology and CRM experts in our Finland and UK offices, and experience with more than 100 implementation and optimization projects. One of our key strategic initiatives is to begin replicating this success in our recently acquired US business. As Marketing Technology Lead, you’ll work closely with our client-facing and new business development teams from opportunity identification through project planning, applying your knowledge and teaming with US-based and overseas experts to create successful client engagements.
Common marketing and sales technology challenges you’ll need to solve:
- Too many marketing and sales tools or suffer from poor integration.
- Customer data scattered across CRM, ad platforms, websites, and other systems.
- Teams that do not use the marketing and sales platforms businesses have already invested in.
- Inefficient campaign setup and ineffective execution.
- Lack of a clear technology road map, leading to “decision limbo”.
Qualifications that can ensure your success:
- Demonstrated abilities to motivate, inspire, and influence team members to invest in their education and achieve agency goals.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills (client-facing and internal).
- Ability to handle pressure with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Revenue growth mindset.
- Proactive — this is a new position that will require certain levels of creativity and resourcefulness to generate opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- Support client services and new business development teams in identifying and developing business cases.
- Support client services by consulting with customers and prospects on challenges that need solving and opportunities that could be realized through workflow, data, and technology optimizations.
- Develop statements of work, including consultative services, technology requirements, implementation/integration, ongoing execution support, project plans, and timelines (with support of other agency experts).
- Take lead role in marketing and sales technology-related pitches.
- Initiate projects, including building technical plans, onboarding clients, project team setup with Finland- and UK-based team members, and high-level oversight during project lifecycle to assure success.
- As needed, provide hands-on execution support with:
- Optimizing automation workflows and lead scoring processes
- Attribution modeling in support of performance marketing programs
- Dashboard setup and ongoing program analysis
- Event tracking and analytical system support (GA4, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
- Develop partner relationships in the US (e.g., explore how to expand existing European relationships with Salesforce, Adobe, etc.).
- Represent Luxid at relevant technology conferences.
- Train internal team members, specifically those in client services and media, to continually increase their marketing technology fluency and organizational abilities to identify and assess client opportunities.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of various marketing technology tools; understanding of their possibilities, and ability to create strategies and road maps aligned with marketing and organizational goals. We’re especially interested in your familiarity with Salesforce, Adobe, and HubSpot environments. Microsoft Dynamics exposure is a bonus.
- Understanding marketing processes and ability to plan them.
- Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration, helping team members develop campaigns and programs that leverage marketing and sales technologies.
- Business knowledge, especially business-to-business environments.
- Familiarity with customer data platforms (with ambition to develop deeper expertise if not already expert).
- Minimum five years of relevant martech experience.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing/business, or other relevant education
What we offer you:
- Great team of highly skilled, supportive, and experienced professionals.
- Luxid’s international, English-speaking, diverse, and inclusive equal opportunity workplace.
- The possibility to grow as a professional with a wide range of learning opportunities.
