Sr Performance Test Engineer

job summary:
The Applications Development Performance Engineering Team within the Enterprise Development Capabilities & Services (EDCS) organization has an exciting opportunity for a System Test Engineer Senior. This team provides application performance testing/engineering support to the overall Application Development Platform within our IT department. In this role resources work with a variety of application development teams ensuring their applications' performance is thoroughly tested and meets the enterprise performance standards.

responsibilities:
- Creating performance test plans

- Creating / writing performance test scripts

- Executing performance tests, and analyzing and delivering results

- Working with project teams to understand performance results, and making recommendations of how to improve application performance

qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and a minimum of four years of work experience analyzing, planning and implementing business system changes.

- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience analyzing, planning and implementing business system changes may be accepted.
