Quality Technician

Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Analyze inspection data and prepare reports detailing findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements in processes. Maintain documentation related to quality systems, including inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports. Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to quality management standards. Support the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols in line with ISO standards.

• 1+ years of experience in a quality technician role.
• Experience in weld inspection preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• AWS Certification preferred.
• Trade school or vocational training is a plus.

Work hours are from 5am to 3:30pm, with an early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays. Must be open to working 48-55 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streetsboro, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
