Vernovis is partnering with a leading organization to identify a Cybersecurity Project Manager to join their team and lead enterprise-level security initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Lead cybersecurity projects through full lifecycles using Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative methodologies.

Create and maintain documentation including project charters, design documents, deployment plans, and change management artifacts.

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking including capital vs O&M costs.

Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with cybersecurity goals.

Lead risk and issue management, stakeholder communication, and project scheduling.

Facilitate collaboration across departments, vendors, and leadership.

Support project compliance with internal security standards, risk assessments, and policy implementation.

What Experience You’ll Have

3+ years of experience managing large, complex IT or cybersecurity projects.

Strong knowledge of project management best practices, including Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC.

Proven leadership experience working across IT and business units.

Experience with budgeting, resource capacity planning, and financial tracking.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

What Experience Is Nice To Have

PMP and Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, PSPO).

Familiarity with Archer, cybersecurity compliance, and policy/standards management.

ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
