Production Supervisor
Production Supervisor
- Located in Youngstown, OH
- $18-$25/hour
- 2nd shift
- Contract to Hire opportunity
- Coordinate daily activities of the production and operation teams.
- Manage employees' attendance and hours worked.
- Evaluate employee performance.
- Delegate maintenance assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Train and coach new and current employees
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions.
- Lead all employees in company safety initiatives, foster a safe work environment, and enforce/support safety policies and rules.
- 3 or more years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous hands on experience in steel fabrication, production, or manufacturing.
- Maintain welding operations through supervising, planning, scheduling and monitoring labor productivity.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Will be subject to pre-employment drug screening.
