Speech-Language Pathologist Skilled Nursing / Full-Time

Location: Waverly New York (Southern Tier Region)
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Salary: $91520 $114400 per year Sign-On Bonus
Schedule: Weekdays weekends and some holidays
Relocation: Assistance available

Job Description:
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive multidisciplinary therapy team. This position offers mentorship a state-of-the-art therapy environment and the opportunity to impact patient communication cognition and quality of life. CFY candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapy for speech language voice and swallowing impairments

• Collaborate with physicians caregivers and rehabilitation staff to deliver patient-centered care

• Document evaluations progress notes and discharge plans

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and family communication

• Conduct audiometric screenings and refer as needed

• Assist with staff training and in-service education

• Adhere to safety and compliance policies

Requirements:

• Masters degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology

• Current or eligible New York State license

• ASHA CCC preferred CFY candidates welcome

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
