Welder
MIG Welding : Perform MIG welding to join metal parts, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
Production Task Execution : Follow process sheets, blueprints, or verbal instructions from the supervisor to complete production tasks accurately.
Material Handling : Maneuver large or heavy parts manually or with the assistance of a crane, as required.
Weld Inspection & Finishing : Inspect welds throughout the process for quality, using grinding tools as necessary to achieve desired finishes.
Machine & Workspace Maintenance : Keep machines and work areas clean and adhere to safety protocols.
Quality Control : Inspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards.
Cross-Functional Support : Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs.
MIG Welding Experience : Prior experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling is required.
Additional Welding Skills : Experience with Flux Core welding is a plus.
Tool Proficiency : Familiarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork is advantageous.
Communication & Documentation : Basic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English.
Physical Capability : Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.
Attendance & Compliance : Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies.
Shift Endurance : Ability to consistently stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Mechanical Knowledge : General mechanical knowledge is beneficial.
Team Orientation : Able to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team player.
Attention to Detail : Demonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks.
2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
