OneSparQ is looking for Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing manufacturing company in Brook Park, OH
Required Skills:- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or bookkeeping
- Understanding of general ledger
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel
- Associates Degree
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, check issuance, vendor setup, and banking verification
- Maintain accurate vendor records and compliance documentation, including W-9s, insurance certificates, and year-end 1099 reporting
- Respond to vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment, billing, and account discrepancies
- Monitor accounts receivable aging, contact customers regarding outstanding balances, and facilitate timely collection of overdue accounts
- Analyze delinquent accounts, develop collection strategies, negotiate payment arrangements, and escalate high-risk accounts as needed
