Shipping/Receiving (1st Shift)

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati OH 45229 with $18/hr pay for 3months contract to perm opportunity. In this role, you will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and supporting daily warehouse activities. Requires forklift experience, physically comfortable in manual lifting regularly, shipping /receiving experience and has a reliable attendance. - APPLY NOW

Schedule:  Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, possible overtime or weekend when needed

Dress Code: 

Required Steel toe boots, denim, and a t-shirt

About the Role: 

In this role, you will be supporting the efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will provide daily oversight of inventory movement, including unloading and inspecting incoming shipments, restocking, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of warehouse processes, and proficiency with material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments, verifying that quantities and conditions match documentation.
• Prepare and stage outgoing orders, including picking, packing, labeling, and documenting shipments for carriers.
• Maintain accurate records of all received and shipped items using warehouse systems and basic data entry.
• Keep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Communicate with team members, drivers, and vendors to resolve shortages, discrepancies, or other shipment issues.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have forklift and receiving experience.
• Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts, or RF scanners is a plus.
• Attention to detail and basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
