Position OverviewThe Senior Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring that all tax matters are handled efficiently and in accordance with regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide expert guidance on various tax-related issues and lead a team of tax professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data for tax filings.
- Review tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide expert advice to clients on tax implications of business decisions and new legislation.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training and support.
- Manage relationships with external tax authorities and coordinate responses to audits.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Experience with tax compliance for partnerships, individuals, and corporations is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
