Technician
QC Technician
Responsible for ensuring all materials, in-process, and finished products meet quality and safety standards in compliance with FDA cGMP regulations.
Key Duties:
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality compliance.
- Perform line clearances, ATP/AllerSnap testing, and record results.
- Conduct daily scale, x-ray, and metal detector checks.
- Collect and manage samples for in-house and external lab testing.
- Verify sanitation logs and assist with internal audits.
- Investigate non-conformances and report findings to QA Management.
- Monitor production processes for food safety and quality adherence.
- Complete other QA-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year experience as a Quality or QC Technician (food manufacturing preferred).
- Basic understanding of GMP, FDA, and food safety standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Work Environment:
- Standing, walking, lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Exposure to production floor and moderate to high noise levels.
- PPE required: safety glasses, gloves, mask, and earplugs.
