We are seeking a Residential Construction Project Developer to guide prospective clients through the early stages of their remodeling journey—from first conversation through scope development, budgeting, and preconstruction planning.

Position Summary

The Residential Construction Project Developer is responsible for leading new client opportunities through the sales and preconstruction process. This includes responding to inquiries, qualifying leads, meeting with homeowners, identifying project goals, developing preliminary scope and budgets, coordinating estimating efforts, and helping clients confidently move toward construction.

This role works closely with Ownership, Estimating, Project Managers, Trade Partners, Designers, and Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to new client inquiries and guide leads through the sales process
• Conduct discovery calls and in-home consultations
• Understand client goals, priorities, budget, and timelines while setting realistic expectations early
• Develop preliminary scopes of work and budget ranges
• Coordinate estimating, trade partner input, and feasibility reviews
• Present proposals, preconstruction agreements, and recommended next steps
• Build trust through clear communication and professional follow-through
• Support handoff from preconstruction to production and continue supporting the Project Manager during construction
• Help refine sales systems, messaging, and overall client experience as the company grows

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, remodeling sales, estimating, project management, or related field
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand construction scope, budgets, and client needs
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Comfortable leading meetings and presenting solutions
• Proficient with technology, spreadsheets, and learning new systems
• Self-starter with a growth mindset

Preferred Experience

• Remodeling or custom home experience
• In-home sales or client consultation experience
• Estimating or preconstruction experience
• Knowledge of plans, budgeting, scheduling, and change orders
