Responsibilities:

· Be a critical member of a team of Service Technicians in a 24/7/365 operating environment.

· Provide 24/7 support as part of a rotating on-call schedule.

· Commute safely from job to job by avoiding distractions, adhering to speed limits, and driving responsibly.

· Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems including chilled water systems, and boilers.

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/Mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.

· Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

· Labels system components.

· Use hand tools to complete repairs and installations of HVAC equipment.

· Effectively communicate with clients and colleagues regarding equipment and repairs.

· Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize work and maintain operational efficiency.

· Document maintenance activities and report on system performance and deficiencies.

· Suggest new solutions that will improve the overall performance of an organization’s HVAC/Mechanical systems.

· Other duties assigned as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Completion of a recognized HVAC trade school, or apprenticeship program.

· EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification. EPA Type II and Type III at a minimum.

· 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, practices, and methods.

· Experience in industrial or commercial settings.

· Knowledge of PLCs and control systems

· Familiarity with preventative maintenance software

· Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools

· Experience with installation of HVAC systems.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

· Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
