Step onto the floor at AmbaFlex Manufacturing in Canton, OH, where spiral conveyor systems begin their journey. As a Structural Fabrication Welder–Fitter on our Construction team, you’ll turn technical drawings into precision-built frames that keep global operations moving.

A Day in the Life

Your shift opens with a blueprint review and a quick huddle with teammates. You stage materials, prepare machines, and choose the right welding method—MIG or TIG—switching techniques as needed to deliver strong, clean, repeatable results. Throughout the day you align and fit steel components, verify dimensions with a tape measure, and perform in-process inspections on subassemblies and completed frames. You’ll partner with engineering and production to refine build methods, contribute ideas for product and process improvements, and document any adjustments so the next build runs even smoother.

What You’ll Tackle

• Interpret and fabricate from technical drawings and specifications
• Fit and weld structural components to form complete frames
• Set up and adjust equipment for safe, efficient production
• Inspect parts and finished frames for accuracy and quality
• Collaborate on continuous improvement of products and processes

Schedules

• Day: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm (4/10s)
• Night: Monday–Thursday, 6:30pm–5:00am (4/10s)

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfort with the metric system (preferred)
