Registered Veterinary Technician- Oncology

Care Center, Cincinnati is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team and play a key role in advanced medical, diagnostic, and radiation therapy procedures. Schedule and Compensation:
- Monday – Thursday, 8am-6pm
- $25-35/hr, based on experience, skill set, & certification
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Perform lab work, radiographs, and sample submission.
- Appropriately handle chemotherapy medications per hospital standards
- Proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture skills
- Administer chemotherapy treatments as directed by Oncologist
- Timely, thorough and accurate patient care client interactions including collecting history for appointments and medication management and refills.
- Ensuring a smooth and excellent client experience through communication, schedule management, and answering questions/concerns.
- Strong ability to multitask and anticipate needs.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- Venipuncture skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members.
