Overview
Registered Nurse - Psychiatric, in Zanesville, Ohio, US. Start date: 06/15/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,702-$1,764 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7 PM–7 AM). Work setting is an inpatient behavioral health environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults and adolescents in an inpatient behavioral health setting, based on physician orders and care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and document in the electronic medical record; manage Pyxis medication dispensing as required.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor safety, and participate in treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and nursing staff; perform effective handoffs and maintain accurate shift documentation.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned and participate in on-call coverage (24 hours over a 6-week period) to support unit operations.
- Support de-escalation and crisis intervention efforts; CPI training is preferred and may be required for some assignments.

Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Pyxis systems
- Ability to work in an inpatient behavioral health setting and to perform night-shift duties
- Prior behavioral health experience preferred; CPI training is preferred but not required
