Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Rotating Day/Night Shifts

Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care, monitor telemetry patients, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams while floating to similar patient care units as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry findings

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition

• Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards

• Float to comparable units caring for similar patient populations when required

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required

• BLS Certification required

• ACLS Certification required

• NIHSS Certification required

• Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in the specialty

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience

• Strong telemetry monitoring and patient assessment skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to work rotating day and night shifts based on facility needs

• Must work every other holiday

• Successful completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation

• Ability to float to similar units as required
