Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Beachwood, OH 44122 (Cleveland area)
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens / Travel Physical Therapist contract
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care
• Experience with neurological, orthopedic, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, or women's health rehabilitation preferred
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver customized, intensive physical therapy to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient health, function, and quality of life
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nurses
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, home exercise programs, and ongoing care
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and CARF-accredited clinical environment
