The Lima Family YMCA in Lima, OH is seeking Housekeeping Staff to join our team.

We are looking for applicants that can work the following (approximately 20 hours per week):

• Monday - Thursday, 9pm -- 12:30am
• Friday, 9am -- 1pm; or 8pm -- 11:30pm
• Saturday, 5pm -- 8:30pm
• Sunday, 5pm -- 8:30pm

Pay Rate:**

$11.00 per hour

**

General Function:**

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the housekeeping staff is responsible for the upkeep and general appearance of the entire building including locker rooms and related areas.

Requirements:**

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be capable of doing the physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time.
• Must have reliable transportation to attend work.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA.

Specific Responsibilities:**

• Along with staff members, responsible for keeping areas organized, equipment clean, and reports all damage and equipment failures to housekeeping supervisor.
• Deep cleans locker room areas including showers, toilets, sinks, lockers and floors.
• Setting up tables and chairs for rentals
• Maintains a clean and bright facility appearance by stocking paper goods and emptying waste containers.
• Performs routine inspections of facilities as a means of preventative maintenance.
• Applying salt and clearing sidewalks during inclement weather.
