Signality Signs and Graphics in Marietta, Ohio has an opening for an Graphics Applicator. This position assists in all areas of sign and vinyl production, including weeding, masking, and post-production of vinyl signage, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in a fast-paced sign shop environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precise production tasks, and working with vinyl graphics and digital print materials.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Weeding and masking vinyl graphics.
• Operating plotters, laminators, and cutting equipment to produce signage components.
• Applying vinyl to substrates such as acrylic, aluminum, coroplast, and vehicles (piece work and full wraps).
• Laminating printed materials and ensuring proper adhesion and alignment.
• Inspecting finished vinyl graphics for quality control before application or shipment.
• Maintaining clean work areas and organizing production tools and supplies.
• Assisting in post-production tasks including packaging, labeling, and prepping jobs for installation or delivery.
• Occasional light fabrication tasks such as trimming, mounting, and edge finishing of signs and panels.
• Collaborating with designers and production leads to ensure accurate execution of design specs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of sign substrates and vinyl types (cast, calendared, printable, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret production work orders and apply them to vinyl jobs.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling intricate vinyl work.
• Willingness to learn other shop processes (fabrication, printing, light assembly).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):

• Graphic installation experience (vehicles, windows, walls).
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar design software for sign prep.
• Basic sign fabrication skills such as light assembly or painting.
• Occasional willingness to assist with on-site installations if needed.
