Hourly Shift Lead - Ridge Tool
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Engage and direct hourly employees to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Provide clear feedback to reinforce successes and offer coaching when improvement is needed.
- Assist in training team members to ensure they understand processes, expectations, and work standards.
- Monitor, balance, and adjust daily workflow among work areas to meet operational goals.
- Audit work for 100% accuracy and ensure any discrepancies are corrected prior to completion.
- Ensure successful completion of order picking, order packing, and stock replenishment activities.
- Perform varied tasks requiring independent judgment and the ability to apply knowledge to a wide range of situations.
You build strong relationships and work cooperatively across the organization to meet shared objectives. You create an environment where everyone feels valued, included, and supported in doing their best work. For This Role, You Will Need:
- At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a goal‑oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and fairly within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn PC skills and software tools needed for the role.
- Ability to instruct and guide a small group of employees performing varied tasks.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees can succeed.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to hold yourself and others accountable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete required equipment training, including forklift, stock picker, and reach truck.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with tools available for heavier items.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Previous leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of JDE.
