Technical Innovation Internship (Summer 2026)
Job Description
Position Summary: -- The Technical Innovation Intern will support the Office of the CTO by researching and evaluating emerging technologies that can enhance data center operations. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about innovation and the future of infrastructure technologies.
- Conduct in-depth research on cutting-edge technologies relevant to data center operations, including:
- AC Power
- Air and Liquid Cooling
- Energy Storage
- IoT
- Advanced Materials
- Analyze industry reports, academic publications, and market trends to identify innovations applicable to Vertiv's product lines.
- Evaluate technologies from startups, universities, established vendors, and advanced technology providers.
- Assess the potential impact of emerging technologies on current and future product offerings.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and highlighting integration or development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility and application potential of new technologies.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
