Workfront System and Workflow Architect (Contract - Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $50 - 60 per hour

Are you a Workfront power user who lives for the "perfect" workflow? We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Workfront System & Workflow Architect to lead a comprehensive redesign of our Workfront instance.

Our eCommerce and Digital Marketing teams move fast-managing high-volume campaigns, creative production, and complex asset development. We need a visionary architect to audit our current state, identify gaps, and build a streamlined, automated system that keeps our operations running like a well-oiled machine.

Responsibilities:

• System Redesign & Build: Audit the existing setup and rebuild the architecture (portfolios, programs, and templates) specifically tailored to the eCommerce campaign lifecycle.
• Intake & Automation: Create modernized intake forms with logic-based routing to ensure "briefs" are actionable from day one. Configure automated approvals and SLA-driven timelines to eliminate manual bottlenecks.
• Process Optimization: Partner with Design, Analytics, Content, and Merchandising teams to document "Ways of Working" and remove operational redundancies.
• Feature Advocacy: Evaluate underutilized features (e.g., Workfront Fusion, automated proofs, scenario planning) and provide cost/benefit recommendations for upgrades.
• Visibility & Reporting: Build sophisticated dashboards for leadership to track capacity, project health, and traffic peaks in real-time.
• Change Management: Develop training materials and lead the rollout to ensure the team is confident and empowered in the new system.

Qualifications:

• Workfront Expertise: 3-7+ years of Workfront administration or workflow design experience. You know how to translate business needs into scalable digital structures.
• Industry Context: Experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or creative production operations. You understand the urgency of a campaign launch.
• The "Architect" Mindset: You are comfortable redesigning systems from the ground up and have a knack for simplifying complex, messy processes.
• Communication Skills: You can lead discovery sessions with cross-functional partners and present your roadmap to stakeholders with clarity.
• Bonus Points: Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or Workfront Fusion integrations.
