CDL A Dedicated Truck Driver
Beast Mode Truckin is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to operate a local dedicated intermodal account based in Columbus, OH. This is a 100% no‑touch, drop‑and‑hook assignment offering predictable schedules, regular home time, and rapid access to comprehensive benefits.
- Job details
- Freight: 100% no‑touch intermodal trailers (drop‑and‑hook)
- Operating area: Columbus, OH local lanes
- Schedule: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat; schedule‑specific home time available (daily or weekly depending on rotation)
- Volume: Multiple loads per shift
- Average weekly mileage: Approximately 2,000 miles
- Compensation and benefits
- $1,100–$1,400 per week (varies by miles and stops)
- Pay rate: $0.62 per mile
- Additional pay: $40 for loads under 100 miles
- Comprehensive benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off
- Minimum qualifications
- Age 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months recent Class A driving experience
- Fair driving record: no major accidents, major tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years; no DUI in the past 5 years
- No involuntary termination from most recent employment for cause
- Consistent work history: generally a solid 10‑year work history with no major gaps outside of school or training; at least 6 months of employment in the last year and at least 1 year in the last 3 years
- Ability to pass pre‑employment urine and hair drug screens
- Residence within 50 miles of Columbus, OH
- Felonies or misdemeanors within the last 5 years will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis
- Preferred qualifications
- Intermodal or drop‑and‑hook experience
- Familiarity with Columbus local lanes and nighttime or scheduled operations
- Additional information
