Configuration Cart Technician Associate
Position Summary:
A cart builder, often referred to as a medical device assembler or product builder, is responsible for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of medical carts and related equipment. Here are some typical duties and responsibilities for this role:
Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical carts and devices using hand tools and machinery.
- Perform tests to ensure the functionality and safety of the assembled products.
- Inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and test results.
- Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Configure devices that attach or are related to the various styles of cart/kiosk builds.
Key Outcomes of this Position:
- This role will be responsible for building carts in a efficient and timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Previous experience in medical device assembly or a similar field is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions
- Feel comfortable working individually and in team settings
- Proficiency in using hand tools, computers, and small machinery.
- Demonstrated organization, time-management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and small machinery.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs.
- Vision must be fair enough under a strong light
- May require standing for long periods and handling small components

Secure Technology Asset Disposition - Allows clients to remove old or outdated devices from their environment. Our facility will erase all data to Department of Defense standards and provide reverse logistics to the client as to whether their devices can be repurposed, recycled, or disposed of properly.
