Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44106 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs (6 labs: 2 Cath, 2 EP, 1 shared, 1 hybrid)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens Travel Contract
• Start Date: September 28, 2025
• End Date: December 27, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500–$2560

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Proficient in pre- and post-procedure patient care within cardiac cath labs
• Knowledge of emergent cardiac medications and interventions
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage vascular access sites (TR Bands, Sheaths)
• Completion of required onboarding documentation (background check, health screenings, competency exams, skills checklist)

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-procedure care for patients in Cardiac Cath and EP labs
• Assist with cardiac procedures including SH, endovascular, cardiology, ablations, and device placements
• Monitor and manage access sites, identifying and responding to complications
• Administer emergent cardiac medications and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Perform cardioversions and loop recorder placements
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety and clinical support
