Press/Set-up Operators (2nd & 3rd)

We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the following opportunity.

Press or Set-Up/Crane Operators

2nd & 3rd Shifts

Starting Pay Rate $22.85 (includes $1.00/hr. shift premium for 2nd/3rd shifts)

Press Operator – Stamping performs duties required to efficiently operate the stamping press to manufacture quality parts.

Responsibilities:

• Performs press operations in accordance with Operation Standards and Work Instructions.
• Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.
• Conducts press operation safety checks on prescribed intervals.
• May perform minor maintenance and machine adjustments.
• Operates overhead crane to stage steel coils at the press.
• Records production data in the system.
• Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
• Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• Follows all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.
• Able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift by passing forklift training class and obtaining license.
• Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labels.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.
• Overhead crane training.
• Willing and available to work overtime, as needed, including weekends

Work Environment:

• Plant environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
