The Civil Service Commission will conduct an examination for both full-time and part-time positions Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 6:00pm at Green’s Central Park Community Hall located at 1795 Steese Rd., Uniontown, OH. Application deadline is 12:00 midnight, Friday, March 6, 2026.

Service Worker I: $20.47/hour

Qualifications: Completion of secondary education (high school or GED). Must possess a valid State of Ohio driver’s license, plus qualify for and remain insurable under the City’s vehicle insurance policy.

Service Worker II: $24.15/hour

Qualifications: Completion of secondary education (high school or GED), one (1) year lands and building maintenance and repair experience; and one (1) year experience in operation of light motorized equipment. Must possess a valid State of Ohio Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), plus qualify and remain insurable under the City’s vehicle insurance policy.

Any combination of training and work experience indicating possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed in the job description may be considered.

The City of Green is a Tobacco-Free Workplace. Applicants must be able to test negative for nicotine along with other drug and alcohol preplacement requirements.

Information submitted will be reviewed by the Commission to determine eligibility. Interested applicants meeting the qualifications for Service Worker II will take an extended test. Those failing to meet minimum qualifications; or, who do not submit required documents when applying, will be disqualified and notified in writing.
