Low Voltage Electrician - HVAC Controls - Plain City, OH
Low voltage electricians needed in Plain City, Ohio for the installation of HVAC Building Automation System (BAS) controls on a new classroom addition, integrating with the district's existing Distech Controls system. What you'll do Install and terminate low-voltage control wiring Pull low-voltage cabling for HVAC systems Install, wire and verify connections for HVAC control devices - VAVs, RTUs, CUHs, exhaust fans, thermostats and temperature sensors Install raceways and bend conduit as needed Work from scissor lifts while maintaining safety standards Make sure installations comply with project specifications and electrical codes What you need Knowledge of low-voltage control wiring and cable installation Experience wiring HVAC equipment - thermostats, temperature sensors, control panels Able to install, bend and run conduit (EMT and other raceway systems) Able to read electrical drawings and blueprints Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safe electrical installation practices Able to work safely from scissor lifts and at heights Commercial electrical construction experience What PeopleReady Skilled Trades offers Weekly pay Health insurance benefits Respect the Craft rewards program Co
