Compensation: $55,000–$85,000 per year; base + commission + bonuses

The Role

You will lead and grow our Route Pickup & Delivery Department.

This is a leadership + sales + operations role.

You will:

• Lead a team of 6–8 Route Drivers

• Drive revenue growth

• Strengthen customer relationships

• Protect service quality

• Step in and run routes when needed

You are not just managing routes.
You are managing performance, culture, and growth.

What You’ll Own

Leadership & Accountability

• Lead, manage, and hold route team accountable

• Coach sales performance and customer service

• Run weekly scorecard reviews

• Hire, train, and develop drivers

• Enforce safety and company standards

Sales Growth

• Grow route revenue and retention

• Train drivers on upselling (Fluff & Fold, specialty items, new accounts)

• Identify territory expansion opportunities

• Build relationships with high-value residential and business clients

• Track KPIs and adjust strategy

Operational Excellence

• Optimize routes for efficiency

• Ensure accurate order handling and inventory control

• Maintain vehicle compliance and safety standards

• Handle escalated customer issues quickly

• Maintain clean documentation and reporting

Hands-On Support

• Run routes when short-staffed

• Conduct ride-alongs and coaching

• Model world-class service behavior

Ideal Candidate

You are:

• A strong leader who holds people accountable

• Organized and metrics-driven

• Comfortable working independently & with a team

• Calm under pressure

• Physically capable of route work

• Licensed driver with clean record

Experience

• 2+ years leading a team

• Outside sales or territory management preferred

• Route-based or logistics experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation: $55,000–$85,000
Plus:

• Commission

• Monthly and performance bonuses
